NPIO Entertainment announced on Dec. 8, 2025, that actor Shin Ye-eun will no longer accept fan gifts, allowing only letters going forward.

Posting a notice titled "Guidelines on gifts for actor Shin Ye-eun" on its official social media, the agency said, "From now on, all gifts other than letters will not be accepted." It added, "Only items that arrive by Dec. 21, 2025, will be delivered to the actor; any form of gift received after that date cannot be accepted." The agency noted that gifts arriving after the cutoff may be returned to sender or discarded.

The notice continued, "For Shin Ye-eun's upcoming birthday as well, only letters will be accepted. We respectfully decline any gifts or support that may already be in preparation." The company relayed the actor's message that "letters filled with fans' sincerity are the greatest source of strength," and asked for understanding. It closed by saying, "We are grateful to all the fans who always support Shin Ye-eun."

Meanwhile, Shin Ye-eun has chosen Jonbeo Doctor (working title) as her next project, slated for a 2026 release. The slangy term "jonbeo" roughly means to hang in there or stick it out.
