Sunmi, a former member of the girl group Wonder Girls, opened up about her feelings towards the hit song 'Tell Me'.
Recently, a video titled 'Sunmi and a Full Course Meal That Requires 24 Hours to Talk' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Kkondaehee'.
In the video, Sunmi shared, "Wonder Girls' debut song was 'Irony', and 'Tell Me' came out a few months later."
She confessed, "I actually didn’t like 'Tell Me'. My manager played it for me in the waiting room of Music Bank, and to me, at 16, it was the first time I was hearing electronic sounds like that." She continued, "The chorus repeats ‘Tell me, tell me’, and I thought, ‘What is this?’ So I cried alone. As a young girl, I wondered if our group’s career would end here."
Additionally, she mentioned about the album jacket shoot, saying, "I felt like I had a pineapple lump on my head," and added, "At that age when I wanted to look pretty, that was very hurtful."
Meanwhile, Sunmi made her comeback with a new digital single 'BLUE!' on the 26th.
