Comedian Jo Hyeryun shared a story about confiding in Lee Kyung-sil about her divorce worries in the past.
On the web entertainment show 'New Women' aired on the 26th, Jo Hyeryun said, "I had hemorrhoid surgery before getting a divorce. While I was hospitalized, I thought I should consult with Sister Kyung-sil, so I called her to the hospital." Lee Kyung-sil then remarked, "Hyeryun had never asked for advice before. I always saw her with a positive and smiling face. So I thought, 'Something serious is going on' and asked where she was. She replied that she would have hemorrhoid surgery tomorrow," which drew laughter.
Lee Kyung-sil continued, "I was surprised by Hyeryun's talk of divorce. So I sincerely told her, 'If you divorce, all the arrows will come at you.' I spoke from my own experience. To which Jo Hyeryun responded, 'Sister, you are doing well. I want to live like you,'" amusing those present. Jo Hyeryun added, "At that time, I was so emotionally and physically upset that I couldn't give a proper answer."
In closing, Jo Hyeryun said, "I was in China after the divorce, and Sister Kyung-sil appeared on a show where she talked about me, and she cried. I thought, 'Why is she using my story like that on air?'" causing a stir in the audience. Jo Hyeryun expressed gratitude, saying, "I am so thankful that she cares for me like that. But she was such a villain," provoking more laughter.
