Actors Lee Ju-young, Ji Seung-hyun, and Koo Jun-hoe are returning in a crime revenge thriller.
On the 27th, Dramax and Wavve announced the confirmed premiere of the new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Justice' along with its striking main poster and teaser video. 'Justice' is a crime thriller that combines cybercrime with a revenge narrative, depicting the journey of a voice phishing victim infiltrating a massive organization and executing revenge using deepfake technology.
This drama, consisting of 8 episodes, aims to realistically portray the nature of next-generation cybercrime while unfolding with tension and deeply exploring human emotions.
In the lead role of Ha So-min, actor Lee Ju-young has been cast. After dropping out of the police academy and living as an unknown actor, he loses his family and dreams to voice phishing and ultimately seeks revenge using deepfake technology. Ji Seung-hyun plays the cold-blooded criminal mastermind and head of the voice phishing organization 'Ilseongpa', while Koo Jun-hoe from the group iKON portrays the justice-driven detective Park Jeong-hoon.
The production team stated, "'Justice' is not just a simple crime drama, but a story of a person with nothing left transforming into a dark hero of society," adding, "We will tackle the theme of voice phishing with much greater depth and precision than before."
The released teaser video includes heartwarming scenes of Ha So-min with his family, the criminal actions of Ma Seok-gu, and action sequences involving Park Jeong-hoon, with the copy saying, "A daughter's deepfake revenge drama for her mother" piquing curiosity.
Meanwhile, 'Justice' will premiere on Dramax on September 24th at 9:40 PM and on Wavve at 9:30 PM.
