The tech YouTube channel 'ITSub' discussed the first impressions of Samsung Electronics' new Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (hereinafter referred to as S11 Ultra).

When it comes to design, the S11 Ultra's front camera has been changed to a single camera, and the notch design has been altered to a round shape. While it poses no major issues in landscape mode, it does create a slightly nuanced imbalance in portrait mode.

The placement of the volume and power buttons has been adjusted for user convenience, and the position of the bottom pogo pins has also changed, enhancing the usability of keyboard accessories. There has also been a change in thickness and weight, with a thickness difference of 0.3mm and a weight reduction of 23g compared to the previous S10 Ultra. The display of the S11 Ultra maintains the same resolution as before but with significantly improved quality. The brightness has increased, making color representation more vivid, although a slight reddish tint has been pointed out as a drawback.

Notable changes can be seen in the S Pen. Unlike the previous generation, this S Pen features a hexagonal design. While it is lighter, improving the writing experience, the deletion of the Bluetooth function means features like air actions can no longer be used, which is a disappointing point.

The changes in the speakers are also noteworthy. With improved output, the use of Dolby Atmos functionality has been maximized, providing significant advantages for multimedia experiences like watching YouTube videos. In terms of the camera, while the quality of the front camera has slightly decreased, the rear camera remains largely unchanged.

On the software side, the changes to One UI are impressive. The quick panel now appears in a pop-up format, increasing usability. Additionally, the fusion of multitasking features and DeX mode has garnered much attention, with DeX mode providing a desktop-like environment that increases work usability.

In terms of CPU, the S11 Ultra is equipped with the Dimensity 9400 Plus, enhancing CPU and graphics performance compared to its predecessor. It comes standard with 12GB of RAM. Battery capacity has increased by 400mAh, extending usage time, and the charging speed has also improved.

Overall, the S11 Ultra has achieved various improvements in terms of design, performance, and software. Notably, enhancements in multitasking and DeX mode stand out, and the harmonious functionality from hardware to software has received positive reviews for being user-friendly.
