Jimin of BTS (born Park Ji-min) has generously donated 100 million won as a scholarship for students in the Jeonbuk area.
The Jeonbuk Office of Education officially announced this on the 25th. According to the Jeonbuk Education Office, Jimin's father expressed the intention to donate the scholarship over the phone in July, and this month, he sent the amount of 100 million won to the Jeonbuk Education Office's Love Scholarship Foundation.
The donated scholarship will be used to assist students who are continuing their studies despite facing financial difficulties.
Since 2019, starting with the Busan Education Office, Jimin has donated 100 million won each year to selected educational offices across the country. Including Jeonbuk this year, the total amount he has donated has reached 600 million won, continuing his quiet philanthropic efforts.
Meanwhile, Jimin has recently garnered attention for acknowledging both his relationship and breakup with Song Da-eun.
