Webtoon artist and broadcaster Kian84 is once again challenging the limits of his life.
On the 13th, MBC's entertainment program 'Extreme 84' unveiled a striking poster that takes your breath away, ahead of its premiere in November, raising anticipation.
In the released poster, Kian84 is shown pausing to catch his breath as he shakes out his sand-filled sneakers in the middle of a desert under a red sunset. Behind him, endless sand dunes and a beautifully tinted sky create a sense of intrigue wondering, 'Where exactly could this be?'
Amidst the sweat and dust on Kian84's face, the phrase 'Expedition MARATHON Crew Testing Limits' is added alongside the 'Extreme 84' logo. The intensity and thrill of extreme challenges and survival in the program come through even in the poster alone.
‘Extreme 84’ is a reality expedition running entertainment show that depicts Kian84 surpassing the marathon distance of 42.195 km and entering an unimaginable course, testing himself in extreme environments and challenging himself to the end. Previously known as a 'lifestyle runner' who completed various domestic and international marathons, Kian84 is now taking on a so-called 'marathon beyond marathon' as he embarks on this 'real race' that transcends human limits.
'Extreme 84' is noteworthy as it expands the universe of MBC's fixed entertainment program 'I Live Alone', where Kian84 appears regularly. Moving beyond the familiar runner image seen in 'I Live Alone', anticipation is already building for Kian84's journey to surpass his own limits by completing a marathon in actual extreme conditions.
