Director Miyaake Sho, who won the prestigious Golden Leopard award at the 2025 Locarno Film Festival, has confirmed the domestic release of the film 'Travel and Days', starring Shim Eun-kyung, for December.

Etnine Film announced this news on the 3rd and unveiled seasonal posters and clips that capture the concept of 'Travel and Days'.

The released seasonal posters and clips showcase stunning visuals that encapsulate the essence of summer and winter, and the phrase "From the shimmering beach to a snowy landscape" heightens anticipation for Director Miyaake Sho's magic as it leads audiences on a journey where the ordinary and extraordinary intersect.

The accompanying seasonal clip features mesmerizing landscapes, including a moment where Yumi Kawai, just awakened inside a car by the seaside, glances toward the winter fields, perfectly matched with the phrase "Perhaps, it's a dream-like story," sparking curiosity.

'Travel and Days' tells the dream-like tale of a screenwriter named 'Lee', who thought it was the end, unexpectedly spending time in an inn in a snowy country, leading to a new beginning. It is adapted from the masterpieces of Tsuge Yoshiharu, a pioneer of Japanese auteur comics, including 'The Poetry of the Beach' and 'Bensang of Honyaradong'.

Shim Eun-kyung plays the role of the screenwriter Lee, while renowned actor Tsutsumi Shinichi, active in Japanese films, dramas, and theater, portrays Benzo, the innkeeper where Lee stays. Furthermore, Takada Mansaku appears as the protagonist in the story of Lee.

Director Miyaake Sho is globally recognized for his directorial skill in works such as 'Your Bird Can Sing', 'If I Look Into Your Eyes', and 'Everything of Dawn', and is regarded as part of the new generation of Japanese cinema alongside director Hamaguchi Ryusuke.
