The Netflix series 'The Price of Confession' has unveiled its secrets.
On the 6th, the production team of 'The Price of Confession' announced its release schedule and revealed a teaser poster and trailer. The work is a mystery thriller depicting the story between Yoon-soo (played by Jeon Do-yeon), who is accused of murdering her husband, and Mo-eun (played by Kim Go-eun), an enigmatic character referred to as a 'witch'.
The released teaser poster features Yoon-soo and Mo-eun, both dressed in the same uniform, facing each other across a wall. The contrast between Yoon-soo's desperate gaze and Mo-eun's vacant expression piques curiosity about their relationship.
The teaser video begins with Yoon-soo embracing her husband, who lies bleeding, while calling 119 for help. Following this, Yoon-soo behaves calmly in a funeral home and police interrogation room, but she is pointed out as her husband's murderer, yet her pleas of innocence only add to the chaos. Meanwhile, Mo-eun, who has been watching her, approaches Yoon-soo in prison and proposes a dangerous deal: "I will confess to your crime in your place."
This deal serves as the crux around which the story threads of prosecutor Dong-hoon (played by Park Hae-soo) and lawyer Jung-goo (played by Jin Seon-kyu) intertwine as suspense builds.
Mo-eun's line, "In the end, we will end up doing this crazy thing," heightens the anticipation for the truth of their relationship and the outcome of the deal.
'The Price of Confession', showcasing the intense acting chemistry of Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun, will be released on Netflix on December 5.
