Singer Moonwon welcomed his strongest supporter, Shinji, along with fellow Koyote members Kim Jongmin and Baegka for a housewarming visit.
On November 12, a video on Shinji’s YouTube channel showed Kim Jongmin and Baegka visiting the newlyweds’ home. It was their first time gathering since the past controversy surrounding Moonwon’s introduction meeting, yet the atmosphere was filled with jokes and laughter rather than awkwardness.
As Kim Jongmin and Baegka entered the spacious home, they looked around in admiration, saying, “You really did it,” and “Didn’t you pour all your earnings into this place?” They also chatted about wedding gifts. When it was revealed that Kim Jongmin had given a kimchi refrigerator and Baegka a clothing styler, Shinji laughed and said, “What would I have done without you two?”
Moonwon personally prepared the entire housewarming meal. “The kitchen is my territory,” he said, serving dishes ranging from cabbage appetizers to stir-fried chili dumplings and miso soup. Kim Jongmin complimented him, saying, “He’s really homely. Housework isn’t defined by rules,” while Baegka added humorously, “I want to go home after work now.”
The conversation naturally turned to Shinji’s busy schedule and her journey to purchasing her own home. Baegka said, “Shinji debuted in her teens with Pure Love and has done everything on her own — variety shows, solo activities — and she still shared everything she earned with me and our older brother. She lived for others until now, and she finally spent her money on herself.”
He also brought up a memorable comment by Moonwon from an earlier meeting. Baegka joked, “Isn’t everyone in Korea aware of Shinji?” reminding them of Moonwon’s past remark, “I didn’t know Shinji was this famous.” Kim Jongmin added, “Who doesn’t know her? Only Sangmoon didn’t.” Moonwon responded, “That was a wake-up call for me,” and Shinji comforted him, saying, “It’s fine now that you know.”
The group also teased Moonwon about his “stingy” image. Shinji shared, “He’s really thrifty. He nags constantly,” while Moonwon protested, “He keeps calling me stingy.” Baegka playfully replied, “Aren’t you just using Shinji’s money instead of spending your own?” Kim Jongmin laughed and said, “We’re all watching you closely.”
Baegka continued the joke, saying, “Don’t tell us the safe’s password,” to which Shinji replied, “It has a fingerprint scanner.” Baegka quipped, “Then while you’re sleeping, if someone uses your finger, it might get cut off. If anyone messes with our team, we won’t let it slide,” creating a loud burst of laughter.
Shinji and Moonwon announced their marriage in June. After their first introduction meeting with the Koyote members, Moonwon faced several concerns related to his past personal life, putting him under scrutiny. As the issue grew, Moonwon publicly apologized and clarified the misunderstandings, while Shinji stated through her agency, “None of it is true,” settling the matter.
