The group ZEROBASEONE is continuing their impressive global performance, and fans are increasingly focused on the status of their contract and the team's future direction.

Last August, ZEROBASEONE's agency Wake One stated, "We are continuously discussing the duration of activities." However, as three months have passed since then, no concrete results have emerged, leading to growing curiosity and anxiety among fans.

ZEROBASEONE is a project group formed through the Mnet audition program Boys Planet, having debuted in July 2023. They have a contract period of two years and six months, and if an agreement on contract extension is not reached, they will officially disband on January 10, 2026.

Nonetheless, ZEROBASEONE is demonstrating a 'global top-tier' trajectory with their performance. They are currently on their world tour titled '2025 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR HERE & NOW,' which began in Seoul and will continue through Bangkok, Saitama, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, and Hong Kong. ZEROBASEONE has been meeting global fans in arena-level performances, receiving enthusiastic responses at each event.

Their album performance is also solid. Their first studio album, 'NEVER SAY NEVER,' released in September, peaked at 23rd on the Billboard 200 chart, setting their personal best record, and has maintained its presence on detailed charts for ten consecutive weeks.

In Japan, their first EP 'PREZENT' and special EP 'ICONIK' both consecutively received Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). In particular, 'PREZENT' topped both the Oricon weekly album chart and the combined album chart, while 'ICONIK' ranked first in Tower Records' comprehensive album and second on Billboard Japan's top album sales, proving their strong album power locally.

Music metrics are also following suit. The track 'Doctor! Doctor!' from their fifth mini album 'BLUE PARADISE,' released in February, achieved a resurgence, claiming the top spot on the Oricon weekly streaming rising ranking even nine months after its release, once again proving ZEROBASEONE's versatility with their songs.

However, some domestic fans have expressed disappointment that ZEROBASEONE concluded their activities for their first studio album just one week after its music show promotions and shifted focus to their world tour and fan signings, questioning whether it was too short given their impressive achievements leading up to the contract expiration.

With their overwhelming success, interest in the future of the team has intensified. All eyes are on ZEROBASEONE, who confirmed their 'present' through the world tour and consecutive Platinum certifications, to see how they will respond to inquiries regarding their contract extension.
