Singer-actor Si-wan Im is set to make his solo debut as the first artist under SM Entertainment's music label SMArt, and buzz is building after the teaser for the title track 'The Reason' dropped.
The first teaser, released Dec. 1 on SMArt's official YouTube channel, pairs a rhythmic sound with Si-wan Im's easygoing vibe, ramping up anticipation for his forthcoming full release. A second teaser is slated to arrive at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3.
The music video follows a love-shy Si-wan Im as he repeats the same day, growing little by little. With witty direction, it delivers an earnest message about not giving up even after repeated failures.
Si-wan Im's first mini album 'The Reason' features five tracks, including the title song of the same name. The title is a mid-tempo pop number whose sweet line, "All my reasons are you," meets dynamic instrumentation to evoke a scene straight out of a romance film.
