Lee Kwang-soo is turning heads as a next-level villain in the Disney+ original series Jogakdosi, drawing major attention for a chilling turn.
Jogakdosi, directed by Park Shin-woo and Kim Chang-joo and written by Oh Sang-ho, casts Lee as Do-kyung, a moneyed power player and VIP to Johan (played by Do Kyung-soo). As one pillar of the shows evil, he delivers a performance that makes the character pop.
New stills released Dec. 3 capture Lee feigning indignation without a shred of guilt, sending chills down viewers spines. He also layers on pettiness by showing Do-kyungs bully-the-weak, bow-to-the-strong streak.
Lee doesnt let up as the shows antagonist. With a cool, composed face, he plays Do-kyung brazenly playing the victim against Tae-jung, leaving a strong impression in every scene. In a high-speed car chase with Tae-jung, he rides the edge between fury and panic, ratcheting up the tension. After a fierce back-and-forth that ends with Do-kyung suffering a major accident, anticipation is peaking for the finale of Jogakdosi.
Starring Lee Kwang-soo, Ji Chang-wook, Do Kyung-soo, Kim Jong-soo, Jo Yoon-su and more, the Disney+ original series Jogakdosi runs for 12 episodes exclusively on Disney+.
Meanwhile, though Lee cemented a variety-star image on SBSs Running Man, his recent projects have reminded viewers hes an actor first.
