Comedian Cho Se-ho has been hit with online allegations claiming he is close to an organized-crime figure and received an expensive gift.
On December 4, his agency A2Z Entertainment issued an official statement addressing the claims. Recently, photos of Cho were circulated online alongside the caption, “Entertainer Cho Se-ho, reflect on your actions,” with the poster alleging that he drank with a man identified as B and received a costly gift. The post also claimed B was involved in operating an illegal gambling site and money laundering.
A2Z Entertainment flatly denied the allegations, stating, “Cho Se-ho and Mr. B are merely acquaintances, and the claim that he received an expensive gift is not true.” The agency emphasized, “He never received any gift, and his connection with Mr. B is nothing more than a casual acquaintance.”
After the photos circulated, users commented, “Did Yoo Jae-suk know about this?” and “Will this affect the shows he’s on?”
