Moon Chae-won is set to meet audiences as Kwon Sang-woo's unforgettable first love.
On the 16th, the team behind Heartman unveiled character stills of Bona, played by Moon Chae-won. The newly released images highlight Bona's many charms and are already boosting anticipation among moviegoers.
Heartman is a comedy that follows Seung-min (Kwon Sang-woo) as he fights not to lose the first love he's reunited with — only to find himself caught up in a secret he can never reveal.
In the film, Moon Chae-won's character Bona is the college first love who instantly captured Seung-min's heart with her warm gaze and bright energy. Now a talented photographer with a keen eye, she appears calm and gentle on the surface but dives in with unwavering determination when it comes to what she loves.
Moon Chae-won said, "My hair was relatively long before, but it didn't give the impression of being really long and straight at first glance. In Heartman, I appear with that look, and it felt special to me," sharing the details she prepared to embody this 'legendary first love' character.
Kwon Sang-woo added, "Moon Chae-won belongs in the first-love hall of fame. I'm confident this is the movie where she looks the most beautiful among her works," and continued, "If you watch the film with that fluttery first-love feeling, you'll naturally be drawn in."
Heartman opens in theaters nationwide in Korea on January 14, 2026.
