Artist-producer ZICO is making major waves in Japan, from live stages to charts and fashion campaigns.
On December 26, ZICO appeared on Japan’s flagship music program Music Station SUPER LIVE, performing his new single “DUET” with Lilas — also known as Ikura of YOASOBI. Their tight vocals and natural chemistry delivered an energetic performance that immediately grabbed attention.
This year, ZICO has steadily expanded his presence in Japan’s music and fashion scenes. He joined legendary group m-flo’s 25th-anniversary “loves” project with the collaboration track “EKO EKO.” On December 19, he officially released “DUET” with Lilas, further strengthening his connection with Japanese fans. He also fronted a Japan campaign for global denim brand GUESS JEANS, signaling his growing influence beyond music.
Looking ahead, ZICO will hold his first solo concert in Tokyo in nearly eight years — 2026 ZICO LIVE: TOKYO DRIVE — on February 7, 2026. Anticipation is soaring following his explosive stage at a-nation 2025 last August.
Back in Korea, momentum remains strong. His “DUET” performance at the 2025 Melon Music Awards became a major talking point, pushing the track up multiple charts. It also hit No. 1 on YouTube Korea’s Trending Music on December 21 and maintained the top spot through 10 AM on December 27.
With his rapid expansion into Japan, ZICO continues to cement himself as a truly global artist.
