News of comedian Jo Se-ho’s planned return to broadcasting has reignited controversy, with the original accuser resurfacing and hinting at further disclosures.

Recently, the accuser, identified as A, reacted on social media to reports of Jo Se-ho’s comeback, claiming, “I heard Jo Se-ho is returning,” and warning that additional videos exist. A alleged that if Jo resumes activities forcefully, more footage filmed at the home of the individual at the center of the controversy would be released.

A further questioned the nature of Jo’s relationship with the alleged organized crime figure, asserting it went beyond a casual acquaintance and citing private gatherings involving Jo and his spouse before marriage.

The controversy first erupted in November, when Jo Se-ho was accused of having close ties to an individual allegedly involved in illegal online gambling operations. At the time, photos and videos were released claiming private social interactions and benefit exchanges.

Jo Se-ho denied the allegations, stating he was merely acquainted with the individual through a local event. As the issue escalated, he apologized and suspended broadcasting activities, stepping down from KBS2’s 2 Days & 1 Night and tvN’s You Quiz on the Block. His agency also announced plans for legal action against false rumors.

Late last year, reports surfaced that Jo would return via Netflix’s variety show Screwdriver, prompting renewed debate. With the accuser now speaking again, public attention has shifted back to how Jo Se-ho will address the resurfaced claims.
