A2O MAY clinched the rookie honor at the '2025–2026 Music Business Industry Awards (MBIA)' held in Beijing, winning the Music Finance X Weibo Nowwin Annual Emerging Musician category.

With this win, A2O MAY once again proved their rising-star status, pulling off a sweeping four-peat of global rookie awards. Previously, they won the 'Weibo Music Awards 2025' Rookie Group of the Year, the '2025 Asian Hall of Fame' New Artist Award, and Weibo 'Night of Competition' Nowwin Rookie Group of the Year, adding weight to their momentum.

After the ceremony, A2O MAY told their label A2O Entertainment, "It's a great honor to receive this award," adding, "We are deeply grateful to Mr. Lee Soo-man and everyone at A2O. This is our first award of the year and a victory we achieved together with MAYnia. Thank you to everyone who has been with us and supported us—we'll keep your encouragement close to our hearts and continue pushing forward without stopping." They continued, "At the start of a new year and a new chapter, we'll keep working hard, growing, and repaying you with even better music."

Last year, A2O MAY dropped 'BOSS', 'B.B.B (Bigger Badder Better)', and their first EP 'PAPARAZZI ARRIVE', cementing their presence in the global music market. Notably, 'PAPARAZZI ARRIVE' tied for No. 1 with Justin Bieber on the U.S. Mediabase Top 40 Airplay "Most Added" weekly chart, drawing major buzz.
