Netflix film Pavane, starring Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min, premieres on February 20. The story follows three guarded young adults who become a light for one another as they confront life and love.
The production stills released on the 29th spotlight how three youths, each carrying different scars, change and grow after meeting. Mijeong (played by Go Ah-sung), who stands out with a singular aura, works in the dim basement of a department store, hiding from prying looks — sparking curiosity about her untold story. Johan (Byun Yo-han) appears with bleach-blond hair and sunglasses, writing somewhere, underscoring his free-spirited nature.
Adding to this, Gyeong-rok (Moon Sang-min), who has put his dreams on hold to face reality, wears a David Bowie T-shirt, rides a skateboard, and listens to music through earphones — capturing the carefree vibe of youth. As Gyeong-rok draws closer to Mijeong and she finds her own light, a fluttery excitement builds, making the trio's dynamic even more intriguing.
With a nonchalant expression, Johan approaches Gyeong-rok, naturally becoming friends, and also forges a link with Mijeong — hinting at his role as the axis between the three. That dynamic can also be glimpsed in a still of Mijeong and Gyeong-rok sitting side by side with Johan.
Meanwhile, Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min transform into their characters, and their captivating performances and chemistry can be seen in Pavane.
