MBC’s Perfect Crown, starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok, has revealed its premiere date.

On the 6th, the Perfect Crown team told multiple outlets, "We have locked in April 10 for the first broadcast." The series will air as the follow-up to In Your Radiant Season and will arrive in the second week of April—one week later than initially planned—due to scheduling changes from the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Perfect Crown is set in a 21st-century Republic of Korea under a constitutional monarchy. The status-defying romance follows a woman who has everything as a chaebol magnate but bristles at life as a commoner, and a man who is the king’s son yet cannot claim anything as his own.

The casting of leads IU and Byeon Woo-seok has already sparked major buzz. In the drama, IU plays Seong Hee-ju, a chaebol powerhouse blessed with beauty, brains, and sharp business instincts—everything except noble status—while Byeon transforms into Grand Prince Ian, the king’s second son, adored nationwide for his striking looks and commanding charisma.
