BLACKPINK’s latest comeback is making waves worldwide, surging up major global charts and igniting fresh buzz across the industry.
According to the newest rankings released by Billboard on the 9th (local time), the title track 'GO' from BLACKPINK’s 3rd mini album 'Deadline' debuted at No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100. It marks the group’s 11th career entry on the chart — the most ever for a K-pop female artist.
BLACKPINK also scored No. 13 on the 'Billboard Global Excl. U.S.' chart, while the album 'Deadline' debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, securing the group’s fifth career entry on the main albums chart.
The momentum continued in the UK. On the Official Charts, 'GO' landed at No. 44 on the Singles Top 100, and 'Deadline' hit No. 11 on the Albums Top 100. With these placements, BLACKPINK set the record for the most entries by a K-pop female artist in both singles and albums on the UK charts, once again proving their dominance in the global market.
Domestic demand is just as fierce. 'Deadline' topped both the Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart, and immediately after release, it moved 1,774,577 copies — a new first-week sales record for a K-pop girl group.
