TV personality Sayuri and actor Han Groo opened up about the real struggles of being single moms and set the record straight on viral "financial hardship" rumors.

On the 10th, a new video featuring Sayuri was uploaded to Han Groo’s YouTube channel. Over a meal, the two discussed the pressure of raising a child alone and the public scrutiny that comes with it.

Han Groo spoke about the financial responsibility she feels as a single mom. "If it were just me, there’s not much to worry about. Even if there’s a slow month of work, I can get by," she said. "But once you have a child, everything changes. The weight of responsibility is completely different."

The conversation naturally shifted to recent reports about alleged financial struggles. When Sayuri asked, "Weren’t we both upset about those articles claiming we’re facing financial hardship?" Han Groo admitted, "I cried for two days after seeing that article." Sayuri responded, drawing a line: "People don’t need to worry about celebrities."

Sayuri also explained how the misunderstanding started. "One day, our housekeeper told me she’d heard I was worried about making payroll because I had no money," Sayuri recalled. "So I told her, ‘You don’t have to worry.’" She added, "Back when I appeared on Dongchimi, I exaggerated a bit for TV. I think that led to the misunderstanding. My mouth was the problem."

Han Groo married in 2015 and had twin boy-girl siblings, but after an amicable divorce in 2022, she has been raising her children on her own. In 2020, Sayuri gave birth to a son using a sperm donation from a Japanese sperm bank, choosing to become a single mom by choice and drawing widespread attention for her new family model.
