SHINee member Taemin has parted ways with Big Planet Made Entertainment — and reports say he’s set to continue his career under G-Dragon’s agency.
According to The Fact on the 11th, Taemin recently signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation. The company is home to G-Dragon, Kim Jong-kook, and Song Kang-ho, among others.
Taemin ended his contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment early last month and began searching for a new home. He appears to have settled on his next move relatively quickly.
He is also expected to keep working with some of the management staff he previously teamed up with. The move is seen as a way to maintain stability by partnering with a familiar on-the-ground team even in a new environment.
Debuting with SHINee in 2008, Taemin has built his career by promoting both as part of the group and as a solo artist. With a solid global fanbase, all eyes are on how he will expand his activities under his new agency.
