Veteran first-generation musical actor Nam Kyung-joo has been referred to prosecutors over sexual assault allegations.

On the 11th, multiple outlets reported that the Seoul Bangbae Police Station sent Nam to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office without detention on charges of sexual intercourse by abuse of authority. According to police, Nam is accused of sexually assaulting a woman, A, in Seoul last year. A reportedly felt threatened, fled the scene, and called 112.
