On the 17th, TVING original Yumi's Cells Season 3 (hereafter Yumi's Cells 3) dropped a 'Soon-rok On–Off Teaser' spotlighting the surprising dual charms of Soon-rok, played by Kim Jae-won.
'Yumi's Cells 3' follows a 'cell-tingling romance' as Yumi, now a star author, laughs, cries, and falls in love again—this time centered around a man named Soon-rok who enters her daily life. Kim Go-eun returns as Yumi to lead the story, and Kim Jae-won joins to hint at a fresh older woman–younger man romance.
In the previously revealed 'Yumi On–Off Teaser', Soon-rok's appearance that set Yumi's heart racing became a hot topic. The new 'Soon-rok On–Off Teaser' spotlights the unexpected charm hiding behind his calm, rational demeanor as Yumi's assigned PD.
Soon-rok is a PD in the editorial department at Julie Publishing—defined by a composed attitude and razor-sharp judgment. As Yumi puts it, he looks like the word "calm" is written across his face, but in reality he’s a die-hard homebody who switches to low-power mode the moment he steps outside. Watching him get through the day with just a single bar of battery left draws laughs.
After meeting Yumi, the subtle changes in Soon-rok also stand out. While his "outside" cells used to stay in low-power mode, they light back up when he’s with Yumi. With a spark quietly forming between them, fans are eager to see how their older woman–younger man dynamic will evolve.
Meanwhile, 'Yumi's Cells 3' will pre-release two episodes every Monday at 6 p.m. on TVING starting April 13, and will air one episode on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
