A heartwarming story about Park Ji-hoon — who surpassed 13.6 million moviegoers with the film The King's Warden, cementing his status as a so-called "ten-million actor" (a Korean term for stars whose films draw over 10 million viewers) — is going viral.

On the 17th, a dermatology clinic director shared an anecdote about Park on Threads. The director wrote, "Actor Park Ji-hoon, who visited a few days before the movie’s release, came back after becoming a ten-million actor," adding, "I’m already grateful that he kept visiting our small clinic, but I wanted to share this good deed."

According to the director, due to clinic circumstances, treatment costs climbed far beyond expectations, leaving his managers in a bind. Once Park found out, he covered not only his own bill but also the costs for the staff who accompanied him. Even afterward, Park reportedly returned to the clinic with his managers, showing the same consistency and humility.

The director said, "There have been many unpleasant incidents between managers and celebrities lately, but seeing Park Ji-hoon’s case reminded me of his genuine humanity."

The story spread rapidly online, drawing praise such as "That’s what a ten-million actor does" and "Such a warm mindset."

Meanwhile, as of the 16th, The King's Warden has surpassed 13.6 million cumulative admissions, ranking 8th on the all-time box office list. All eyes are on whether it will surpass the 13.76 million record set by Frozen II.
