Former civil servant Kim Seon-tae, who went viral as "Chungju Man," shocked fans by leaving public office and launching a YouTube channel — and now, word is his very first collaboration partner is Woori Bank.

Kim opened his personal channel immediately after stepping down last month and instantly became a hot topic. The channel surpassed 1 million subscribers just two days after launch, setting a record by earning a Gold Play Button with a single video. As of today, Kim’s YouTube channel has about 1.46 million subscribers.
Riding this explosive popularity, collaboration requests poured in from a wide range of companies and institutions. Kim previously shared, "We received hundreds of advertising inquiries," adding that he wants to create promotional content that spotlights people, products, and public-interest initiatives together. In fact, the video’s comment section saw more than 20,000 comments — from public agencies to corporations — expressing interest in working with him.
Kim also revealed plans to give back by donating a portion of his earnings to society, expanding the purpose behind his content. With that in mind, attention is now focused on why he chose Woori Bank as his first collaboration partner.
