In a latest video, an unmanned firefighting robot armed with cutting-edge technology was unveiled—an eye-opening example of innovation designed to protect human lives at disaster scenes.

The video was uploaded on March 16, 2026, by Channel Aha.

It shows the unmanned firefighting robot forming a protective water curtain that still works at 500–800°C and using an infrared camera to pinpoint the ignition source and locate people for rescue through dense smoke.

The robot can be deployed even in oxygen-starved underground fire sites, drawing major attention. Expectations are especially high because it was reportedly developed through a collaboration between the National Fire Agency and a domestic auto conglomerate, referred to as Group H.

This debut marks a new milestone for Korean firefighting technology. For more details, check the related report.
