As the Strait of Hormuz remains effectively sealed for an extended period, the world is bracing for a potential oil shock.

On March 16, the YouTube channel 'Shuka World (clout-chasing YouTuber)' uploaded a video titled 'Is an Oil Shock Coming? The Prolonged Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz'.

The video highlighted unprecedented turmoil in the oil market and Iran’s determination to keep the blockade in place. It also named Russia as the biggest winner of the current conflict and suggested the Iran-related war may not end anytime soon.

One comment warned, "If Iran’s blockade continues, it will have a major impact on the global economy." Another viewer said, "I’m curious how Russia will respond."
