BTS are finally lifting the veil on their 5th studio album 'Arirang'. The second teaser for the title track 'SWIM' music video has dropped, sending anticipation through the roof.
The first teaser, released on the 18th, showed a model ship on display at a museum. On the 19th, a new clip featuring all seven BTS members arrived, shocking fans with the full-member reveal.
Set to the 'SWIM' audio, the video opens with the members standing shoulder to shoulder atop a colossal ship, staring straight ahead without a flinch. The grand, cinematic staging cranks up the hype for the full release.
The music video is directed by world-renowned filmmaker Tanu Muino, known for Jungkook’s solo 'Standing Next to You' as well as collaborations with Post Malone, Doja Cat, and Dua Lipa — drawing global attention to her signature mise-en-scène. Title track 'SWIM' is an upbeat alternative pop song about pushing forward through life’s waves. Leader RM co-wrote the lyrics to add depth, while Chairman Bang Si-hyuk served as executive producer to elevate the overall quality.
BTS will release their new album at 1 p.m. on the 20th, then appear on NBC’s hit program The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon from the 25th to the 26th to unveil brand-new stages.
