Actor Ryu Hae-jun is set to make a strong first impression as Park Hae-soo's junior detective.
On the 19th, agency HighZium Studio announced that Ryu Hae-jun will appear in ENA's new Monday–Tuesday drama Scarecrow. The series is a crime-investigation thriller about a detective chasing the real culprit behind a string of serial murders who forms an unexpected partnership along the way.
Ryu Hae-jun will play the youngest detective at Gangseong Police Station and the junior of Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo). He sincerely respects and follows Kang Tae-joo; though a bit clumsy, his genuine heart will inject fresh energy into the story.
Having drawn attention in various projects for his striking visuals and steady acting, viewers are eager to see what new side Ryu Hae-jun will reveal through Scarecrow.
Meanwhile, Scarecrow is slated to premiere on April 20 at 10 p.m.
