BTS will drop their fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' today (the 20th) at 1 p.m. KST, and reactions are already pouring in.
Along with the comeback, the group is set to hold a special performance at Gwanghwamun on the 21st. Ahead of the event, Seoul City sent out safety alert texts to residents: "Due to a BTS event, Sejong-daero will be under traffic control on the 20th and at 6:00 on the 21st–22nd; nearby Sajik-ro on the 21st from 16:00–23:00; and Saemunan-ro on the 21st from 19:00–23:00."
Notably, the alert was also issued in English. Some netizens reacted negatively, saying, "This is the first time I’ve seen a safety alert in English" and "People are being extra as expected."
To celebrate the release, BTS will also host a group livestream, 'STUDIO NOTES | ARIRANG,' on the Weverse team channel at 2 p.m. KST today (the 20th).
