Actor Kim Hye-yoon signals a bold transformation with her first-ever horror film.
On the 20th, the team behind Salmokji unveiled striking character posters and the third trailer.
Salmokji follows a filming crew who heads to a reservoir to reshoot after a mysterious figure is spotted on Road View—only to confront something lurking in the black, bottomless water.
The newly released character posters grab attention with a stone cairn rising from the darkness and each character’s tense expression. In particular, Su-in (played by Kim Hye-yoon), drenched and rattled, pairs with the chilling tagline, "I only believe what I see with my own eyes," sparking curiosity about the entity she encounters. Gi-tae (Lee Jong-won) amps up the tension with his steely resolve to uncover the mystery of 'Salmokji' to the very end. By contrast, the pallid-faced Gyo-sik (Kim Jun-han) gives off a sinister vibe with the ominous line, "Being alone is scary—I'll go with you."
The third trailer ramps up the fear with relentless pacing. A skipping stone eerily comes back, Gyo-sik’s bizarre behavior escalates, and a hand suddenly shoots out from the stone cairn—an onslaught of unexplainable phenomena that cranks the tension to the max.
Meanwhile, Salmokji opens on April 8.
