After 22 Years In The Industry, Go Ah-sung Shocks Fans By Hosting 'SNL Korea 8': "I'll Act With My Eyeballs"

No one saw Go Ah-sung's brand of comedy coming.

For the first time since her debut, actress Go Ah-sung is taking on live comedy.

Coupang Play announced on the 20th that Go Ah-sung will appear as the host of episode 2 of SNL Korea Season 8.

Saturday Night Live Korea is a comedy show where stars and the crew deliver bold, boundary-pushing laughs that dominate the conversation. As Go Ah-sung marks 22 years since her debut and steps onto a live-comedy stage for the first time, expectations are soaring.

Go Ah-sung said, "I never imagined I'd be standing on stage as an 'SNL Korea 8' host. It's my first time doing live comedy, so I'm nervous but excited," adding, "To live up to the title of the nation's top comedy show, I'll pour in my bright energy and act down to my very eyeballs. Please cheer me on."

Since debuting in 2004, Go Ah-sung has broadened her acting spectrum, most recently starring in the romance project Pavane. Through her appearance on 'SNL Korea 8', she's expected to showcase yet another surprising side of herself.

Meanwhile, 'SNL Korea 8' featuring Go Ah-sung will premiere via Coupang Play at 8 p.m. on April 4.
