Actor Lee Je Hoon has once again made a meaningful donation.
According to his agency Company On on the 25th, Lee donated 100 million won (approximately USD 75,000) to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The contribution was delivered to the hospital’s development fund, and Lee expressed his hope that it would help build advanced treatment systems for cancer patients.
Lee first began donating to Seoul Asan Medical Center in 2021 and has since continued sharing to support underprivileged patients as well as pediatric and adolescent patients. This latest donation was also made with the intention of improving patients’ treatment environments and expanding medical support.
Through his agency, Lee said, "Every time I heard about the treatment of underprivileged patients, I was grateful to be able to send my support, even from afar," adding, "I decided to donate because I wanted to help the hospital more proactively support patients’ treatment." He continued, "I will keep trying to share more often in the future."
Lee has continued to give across various fields, putting his positive influence into action. He was the first major donor to join international relief and development organization Oxfam’s high-value donor group, and he has consistently supported causes through organizations such as the Beautiful Foundation and ChildFund Korea (Green Umbrella). In recognition of these efforts, he also received a commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety.
Meanwhile, Lee recently wrapped up his 20th debut anniversary fan meeting, 'Our 20th Moment,' to great success. He has also confirmed his appearance in the SBS drama Seungsan Isseumnida, slated to air in 2027, signaling an active slate of upcoming activities.
