Shocking numbers: Netflix’s live-streamed comeback concert for BTS drew 18.4 million viewers worldwide in a single day.

On the 25th, Netflix announced, "The live broadcast 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' on the 21st was enjoyed by 18.4 million viewers on Netflix within the day of the live event."

The show marked Netflix’s first live event originating from Korea, landing in the weekly Top 10 in 80 countries and hitting No.1 in 24, underscoring BTS’s still-unmatched global pull.

Staged in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, the concert was BTS’s first in-person meeting with fans in the city in over three years. With Gyeongbokgung Palace’s majestic backdrop fused with sweeping LED production, the stage earned praise for powerfully showcasing Korean symbolism.

The performance reinterpreted an album inspired by the traditional folk song 'Arirang' for a modern era. New tracks 'Body to Body,' 'Like Animals,' and title song 'Swim' were performed live for the first time, alongside megahits 'Butter' and 'Dynamite.' Leader RM suffered an ankle injury during rehearsal and completed parts of the show seated.

Following their comeback, BTS is set to kick off the 'Arirang' world tour, with the opening show scheduled for April 9 in Goyang.
