Channel A’s hit dating reality Heart Signal 5 has locked in its premiere date, signaling a full-scale launch.
Heart Signal observes the dating journeys of young men and women gathered in the “Signal House,” while a studio panel tries to deduce where their hearts are headed.
This season shakes up the celebrity prediction panel. Returning members Jong-shin Yoon, Sang-min Lee, and Eana Kim are back, joined by singer Roy Kim and Tsuki of the group Billlie, who bring fresh perspectives to the mix.
The newly released main teaser captures the very first meeting of the residents in the Signal House. Along with sparkling eye contact and shy smiles, raw confessions like “My heart is fluttering” and “I can’t control my feelings” deliver an unfiltered rush of first-love energy.
In particular, date scenes on a night-lit bridge and atop a Ferris wheel at sunset — plus a straightforward confession, “I like you more” — evoke the vibe of a cinematic youth romance and dial up anticipation. A moment of the cast snapping photos under falling snow further amplifies the show’s signature, sentimental mood.
On the flip side, glimpses of tears and deep contemplation hint that it won’t be all butterflies — conflicts and tough choices are clearly coming. With a cast already praised for their top-tier visuals, hype among dating-reality fans is surging.
Returning after three years since 2023, the Heart Signal series is ready to see if it can once again spark viewers’ dormant love cells.
The first episode airs on April 14 at 10 p.m.
