Nam Gyu-ri—singer from SeeYa and now an actress—had viewers cracking up as her real-life, no-frills personality completely flipped her famously innocent image on its head.

On the March 29 episode of SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, cameras followed Nam Gyu-ri’s daily routine. She stunned with her ageless visuals—hard to believe she’s in her 40s—but the real shock came during mealtime.

Nam scooped dongchimi (watery radish kimchi) and jjigae (stew) straight with a ladle to check the seasoning—and kept tasting with the same tool—locking everyone’s attention. Seo Jang-hoon blurted, "People don’t usually do that," while Shin Dong-yup laughed it off: "It happens."

She then grilled samgyeopsal (pork belly) as a whole slab without cutting it, and even pan-seared myeongran (pollock roe) in butter as a side—showing off her carefree eating style. A fridge and freezer packed with samgyeopsal sealed her unexpected ‘mukbang’ charm.

Seo Jang-hoon joked she was "Im Kkeok-jeong style," while Shin Dong-yup quipped she looked like "a pretty Kang Ho-dong," adding to the laughs.

Born in 1984, Nam Gyu-ri is 41 this year. She debuted with SeeYa in 2006 and recently announced a reunion to mark their 20th anniversary. Reuniting with Kim Yeon-ji and Lee Bo-ram, SeeYa will return as a full trio on the 30th with the new single 'Nevertheless, We'. It’s their first full-group promotion in about 15 years.
