BLACKPINK's Jisoo drew attention after revealing her honest and no-nonsense views on dating.
Recently, a video featuring Jisoo was posted on the Harper's BAZAAR Korea YouTube channel. In it, she personally answered a range of fan-submitted dilemmas and shared her values.
When asked whether it's okay to reunite with an ex, Jisoo was firm: "NO, I don't think that's possible for me." She added, "It probably wasn't an easy breakup, but it's hard to turn those feelings back," explaining, "Once I turn away, I don't look back."
Her thoughts on love were just as clear. Jisoo said, "The key is not expecting anything in return," adding, "Whether it's a partner, a friend, or your parents, it gets harder if you expect payback after doing something for them." She emphasized, "What's important is enjoying the act of giving love itself and being grateful for it."
She also offered practical advice for real-life worries. "If you're afraid of change, it's harder to rise higher," Jisoo said. "Rather than fearing you'll lose what you have now, it's important to quickly shift your mindset when situations arise." She added, "It helps to think of it as 'a sign that something even better is coming.'"
Alongside recent full-group activities with BLACKPINK, Jisoo also appeared in the Netflix series Boyfriend on Demand. In 2023, she publicly confirmed a relationship with actor Ahn Bo-hyun, but the two reportedly split after about two months.
