The film The Devil Wears Prada 2 (directed by David Frankel) is returning with a bold, refreshingly new look.
Press stills released on the 31st by The Walt Disney Company Korea spotlight the powerhouse presence of characters reuniting around the world-renowned fashion magazine Runway for the first time in 20 years. In particular, their radically reshaped dynamics within a rapidly evolving fashion ecosystem ramp up the intrigue.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 follows Miranda (Meryl Streep), the editor-in-chief of Runway, and Andy (Anne Hathaway), who returns after 20 years as features editor. They cross paths with Emily (Emily Blunt), now an executive at a luxury brand, and wager everything on their careers to seize influence in a media landscape transformed beyond recognition.
The newly unveiled stills capture Miranda commanding the center of Runway with her trademark, overwhelming charisma; Andy, back as a more seasoned features editor; and Emily, who has reached the pinnacle of her career as an executive—setting the stage for fresh tension as they meet again from very different vantage points. Andy’s boosted confidence and Emily’s cool, steely poise heighten curiosity about where their stories will go next.
The franchise’s signature styling and lavish visuals also get a major upgrade. From Miranda and Andy’s distinctive black looks with sunglasses, to sharp tailored suits, a striking red dress on the blue carpet, and classic trench ensembles—the film promises to flood the screen once more with era-defining, head-turning fashion.
