Hearts2Hearts is expanding its presence in Japan with a new animation OST—marking another step into the market.

On April 3, SM Entertainment confirmed that the group will perform the opening theme for Catch! Teenieping Season 4, specifically its Japanese broadcast version titled Sweet and Sour Catch! Teenieping.

Set in Dessert Town, the series follows a new storyline sparked by the disappearance of the “Magic Sugar Ball.” The opening track—also titled “Sweet and Sour Catch! Teenieping”—pairs bright vocals with a lively melody, setting the tone for the show’s playful world.

Fans will get their first listen on April 8, when the TV-size opening video is released through the official YouTube channel.

The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 12 via TV Tokyo’s “Animori!” block, with additional broadcasts on Kids Station beginning May 16.

The project also draws attention as it follows a similar move by NCT WISH, who previously participated in music production for a later season of the franchise—blending K-pop elements with the animation’s expanding universe.

With this latest release, Hearts2Hearts continues to build its presence across both music and global media platforms.
