T.O.P has made his long-awaited return with a new solo album—his first in 13 years—drawing attention not just for the music, but for the reactions surrounding it.

On April 4, G-Dragon shared a screen playing T.O.P’s album Another Dimension on his Instagram Story, signaling public support. A day earlier, Taeyang also posted the album image with a supportive message, adding to the momentum around the release.

Dropped on April 3, Another Dimension marks T.O.P’s return to full-length solo work after years away. The album leans into reflection—touching on his past, his time with Big Bang, and the weight of controversies he has faced. Through its tracks, he revisits difficult moments while expressing both apology and personal perspective.

At the same time, some lyrics have sparked speculation about his stance on a possible Big Bang reunion. In particular, lines from the track “OVAYA” have been interpreted by listeners as signaling a desire to move forward independently.

Reactions remain divided. While some listeners see the album as a candid and necessary step forward, others question the way past controversies are addressed. The visible support from G-Dragon and Taeyang has also added another layer to the conversation, with opinions split across fans.

Having debuted with Big Bang in 2006, T.O.P stepped back from activities following a 2017 controversy and at one point indicated he would retire from the industry. With this release, he re-enters the spotlight—this time on his own terms.
