MAMAMOO’s Hwasa opened up with a candid, big-hearted confession about her deep affection for longtime staff and the people around her, laying her values bare.

On April 7, the web variety show Salon Drip featured Hwasa ahead of the release of her digital single 'So Cute,' where she shared a range of stories. Speaking about her hit song 'Good Goodbye,' Hwasa said, "It isn’t just about a breakup between lovers. Some didn’t connect with it, but others immersed themselves and took it as their own story." She defined a 'good goodbye' as "even if resentment or longing remains, in the end, it’s the heart to root for the other person."

The broadcast spotlighted Hwasa’s unwavering loyalty. Addressing the staff who have stood by her for years, she said, "We spend the same hours and run the same schedule, but I make more money. That’s why I want to give back more." She even revealed a heartwarming story of gifting a new car to a staff member who has been with her for over a decade and never holding back on presents.

Hwasa also expressed deep gratitude for even the smallest reactions from the audience. Recalling the stage at the '46th Blue Dragon Film Awards' last November, she mentioned Yoon Kyung-ho’s genuinely supportive response and said, "For anyone on stage, reactions are a huge source of strength." She then shared behind-the-scenes details from the web show Just an Excuse, where they improvised together on the spot. "There was no prior discussion, but he received it so well that I was truly moved," she said, adding with a smile that she later gifted him matsutake mushrooms out of gratitude.

Debuting with MAMAMOO in 2014, Hwasa has showcased a singular charm as a solo artist since 2019 with 'Twit.' She is set to drop 'So Cute' on the 9th.
