Shocking: It has already been two years since singer Park Boram left the public’s side, and fans are still mourning the beloved powerhouse vocalist.

The late star suddenly passed away on April 11, 2024, at a friend’s home in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. She had been drinking with two acquaintances and was found collapsed in the bathroom. Although she was rushed to the hospital, she sadly died the same day.

According to an autopsy by the National Forensic Service, the exact cause of death was confirmed as acute alcohol poisoning, with no signs of foul play or other suspected causes. Reports at the time also indicated that she had underlying health issues, including cirrhosis and fatty liver.

Park Boram first rose to fame in 2010 through Mnet’s audition program Superstar K2, captivating the public with her soulful, powerful voice. She officially debuted in 2014 with the solo track ‘Beautiful’ (Yebbeojyeotda) and went on to release multiple hits, including ‘Don’t Try So Hard’ (Aesseuji Mayo), earning widespread love as a vocalist.

Her passing came just as she was approaching the 10th anniversary of her debut, intensifying the public’s and fans’ heartbreak. Even on her second anniversary, tributes continue as people remember and miss her warm, comforting songs.
