On the April 7 episode of the SBS variety show Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny, Lee shared updates brimming with newlywed excitement. Introducing himself as a "newlywed who only has eyes for his wife," he instantly lit up the studio and couldn’t hide his anticipation for their very first wedding anniversary.
He drew even more attention when he spoke about his wife, whose identity has not been publicly revealed, saying, "Her first impression reminded me of actress Kim Hee-sun." Without disclosing specifics, his affectionate description only fueled curiosity.
Lee also revealed they are preparing to have a child. After his wife began IVF treatment, he said he overhauled his lifestyle — cutting down on alcohol and focusing on his health. He added that married life has made him feel far more responsible.
