Merch that looks just like aespa is exploding in popularity — from Apr 23 to 30, it was the hottest topic on global K-snapp.
On the 23rd, character goods company POP MART announced its collaboration with aespa via its official Instagram. Two days later, POP MART revealed that the aespa series would launch as the first release in its new K-pop artist IP lineup, 'POP STAR'.
The POP STAR series marks POP MART’s first official collaboration with K-pop artists. The company says it strengthens emotional bonds with fandoms by channeling each artist’s identity and visuals — while maximizing value as collectible products.
As the opening act of POP STAR, the aespa Fluffy Club series features character costume designs that reflect each member’s identity. The products incorporate each character’s traits and the members’ charm points, plus member-symbol necklace charms: Karina and Winter are symbolized by a heart and a star, while Ningning and Giselle are symbolized by a butterfly and the moon. Character names include Karangi, Jelbeulnyangi, Mungtangi, and Rwe.
The aespa Fluffy Club series includes three items — plush keyrings, phone straps, and card holders — and it drops tomorrow (May 1). Fans are already raving: "The resemblance is insane," "So pretty," and "I’m buying for sure."
