Actress Yoo In-na candidly exposed bestie IU’s dating style, leaving everyone in stitches.

On the 29th, the YouTube channel Uin Radio featured IU and Byun Woo-seok, leads of the MBC drama Perfect Crown, as guests for a wide-ranging chat with host Yoo In-na. From behind-the-scenes stories on set to everyday topics, the trio’s natural chemistry shone throughout.

During a “balance game,” they were asked which partner type is harder to date: a “mindless tagalong who just goes with the flow” or an “alarm-type planner who schedules everything by the minute.” After some thought, IU chose the planner type, explaining, “If the other person just follows along without any reaction, it’s draining for the one making all the plans. I think a plan-oriented person might actually feel cute.”

But Yoo In-na immediately shook her head: “Nope.” She countered, “IU is the type who adjusts to whatever her partner wants—so much that it’s risky,” adding, “Even when she’s already exhausted, she won’t show it until her body finally gives out.” Yoo In-na then offered some real-talk advice: “Pick the mindless tagalong instead. Don’t make yourself sick.”

IU burst out laughing but admitted, “Now that I hear it, that does sound right,” agreeing with her friend’s assessment. The brutally honest bestie banter kept the mood upbeat and playful.

Meanwhile, IU has been publicly dating actor Lee Jong-suk, who is four years her senior, since 2022.
