Ahead of Children’s Day, actor Kim Go-eun sparked warm praise by putting kindness into action with a generous act of giving.

On the 4th, Kim Go-eun’s agency BH Entertainment announced, "Kim Go-eun has donated 50 million won to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital to support treatment for children from low-income families." The donation will be used in full, via the hospital’s supporters’ association, to help young patients who are struggling to receive care due to financial hardship.

Her goodwill is far from a one-off. Since 2021, Kim has made donations every year, consistently sharing what she has and earning recognition for a sincere, steady commitment to children and their families in urgent need.

Kim said, "I feel deeply moved when I hear that the funds were actually used for the children’s treatment," adding, "I want to continue being an actor who can share the love I’ve received with many people."

Debuting in 2012 with the film A Muse, Kim Go-eun is currently starring in the TVING original series Yumi’s Cells 3.
