Woni of the girl group RESCENE opened up about the group’s shocking viral surge and chart comeback.
Recently on the private message Bubble, Woni wrote, “Am I dreaming?” and added, “Sometimes I’m scared it might suddenly end.”
RESCENE is being hailed as the latest “small-agency idol miracle.” After member Minami appeared on Woni’s YouTube channel and sparked explosive attention with the Geoje ‘Yaho’ meme, the title track ‘LOVE ATTACK’ began surging on the Melon charts, achieving a full-on reverse run.
According to their agency The Muse Entertainment on the 1st, ‘LOVE ATTACK,’ the title track from their first mini album ‘SCENEDROME’ released in August 2024, climbed to No. 28 on Melon’s ‘Top 100’ and entered the daily chart at No. 68, marking a new personal best. The song also scored No. 10 on Apple Music’s ‘Top 100: South Korea’ today and No. 11 on YouTube Music’s ‘Top 100 Popular Songs in Korea,’ among other strong placements across major platforms.
RESCENE is set to return in July with a remake digital single.
