Son Heung-min, who played for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL), is heading to the United States.
On the 6th, Los Angeles FC (LAFC) announced through a press release that "LAFC will hold a press conference on the 6th at 2 PM local time at BMO Stadium located in downtown LA for a significant announcement." Notably, LAFC issued this press release in both English and Korean simultaneously.

After the club's announcement, multiple foreign news outlets, including the AP, reported that "Son Heung-min has agreed to a contract with LAFC, and the transfer from Tottenham to LAFC has been completed." Previously, Son Heung-min announced his departure from Tottenham, stating, "I decided to leave the team this summer" before the Coupang Play Series match held on the 2nd.
For the past 10 years, Son Heung-min played for Tottenham Hotspur in the EPL, participating in a total of 454 matches and scoring 173 goals.
